Bangladesh`s skipper Jaker Ali expresses confidence ahead of Pakistan`s clash

Ahead of the `Super Four` Asia Cup 2025 match against Pakistan, Bangladesh`s stand-in skipper Jaker Ali said that his side doesn`t take any team lightly and focuses on their own abilities.

“We don`t take anyone lightly; instead, we focus on our strengths and abilities. Having played them twice before in Pakistan and Bangladesh, those experiences will surely be valuable moving forward,” told media.

The “Bengal Tigers” will enter the clash after suffering a loss against Team India by 41 runs. On the other hand, Pakistan will be high on confidence as they secured a win by five wickets in their previous clash.

The `Super Four` Asia Cup 2025 match between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to be played on Thursday at the Dubai International Stadium. Ahead of the clash, s Saif Hassan will be the top player to watch out for in the match. In his previous outing against India, he played a knock of 69 runs, which came in 51 deliveries. His knock was laced with three boundaries and five maximums.

Also, Pakistan`s management will expect their skipper, Salman Ali Agha, to deliver a big knock. In the Asia Cup 2025, he has yet to deliver a crucial performance for the side.

With Team India already qualified for the Asia Cup 2025 final, the winner of the clash between Bangladesh and Pakistan will play against the “Men in Blue” on September 28.

Additionally, the last match of the `Super Four` stage of the Asia Cup 2025 will be played between and Sri Lanka on September 26.
