Bangladesh’s interim chief Muhammad Yunus presented a book to Pak General Mirza, whose map shows the northeastern states of India as part of Bangladesh. A big controversy arose regarding this ‘Greater Bangladesh’ map.
Muhammad Yunus Gift to Pakistan General: The head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus, gave a gift to Pakistani General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, which sparked controversy. In fact, Yunus gifted Mirza a book named ‘Art of Triumph’, the map printed on the cover of which shows Assam and some north-eastern states of India in Bangladesh.

The book is visible in the picture of this gift shared on Younus’ official X account, which can be seen as a tribute to the 2024 student movement. This is the same movement due to which Sheikh Hasina government was overthrown in Bangladesh. This book shows photographs taken during the student movement of July-August 2024. This book was released by Muhammad Yunus in September 2024.
