There was a dispute over cabin bag

According to the report, Lieutenant Colonel RK Singh is posted at the High Altitude Warfare School in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir. Lieutenant Colonel RK Singh was to sit in SpiceJet Flight SG 8963 from Srinagar to Delhi. He had a 16 kg cabin bag while according to the rules the hand baggage weighs only 7 kg. For this, when he was asked to give Rs 6,000, he flatly refused and that is why there was a dispute at the boarding gate.

What is the whole matter?

According to media reports, Lieutenant Colonel RK Singh was prevented from boarding due to breaking the rules. He then tried to ignore the protocol of the boarding gate. CISF personnel posted under the airport security took them back to the counter. But during this time Singh allegedly assaulted four SpiceJet employees. Employees suffered serious injuries in the incident and one suffered a spine injury. At the same time, the second person suffered an injury to the jaw and the third employee fainted. The video of the entire incident was recorded in CCTV and an FIR was lodged against Singh. Singh also filed a counter -FIR accusing the airline employees of attack, although the details of their claims are limited.

Flight ban imposed for 5 years

After this incident, DGCA has imposed a flight ban on Lieutenant Colonel RK Singh for 5 years in domestic and international, that is, they will not be able to travel on any flight by July 2030.
