Nandamuri Balakrishna is once again displaying the same commitment to his profession that his father, legendary actor NTR, was known for. Balakrishna recently underwent knee surgery after suffering an injury while shooting an action sequence for his 111th film. Despite doctors advising him to take two months of rest, he is reportedly keen to return to the sets in September to avoid causing delays or financial pressure for the producer.
This commitment strongly reminds the industry of Sr NTR, who was known for prioritising his producers’ interests. Despite suffering injuries during his career, NTR reportedly continued shooting whenever possible to avoid financial losses for his producers. His dedication during films such as Palleturi Pilla and Sardar Paparayudu remains part of his legacy.
Balakrishna is now said to be following the same approach. He reportedly wants to complete his portions in September, with patchwork planned for October and post-production scheduled for November. The team is aiming for a December release, although a Sankranthi release has also been discussed.
December has proved to be a favourable month for Balakrishna, with films such as Pattabhishekam, Lorry Driver and Akhanda arriving during the month. If the current plans stay on track, Balakrishna could once again demonstrate the same professional commitment that made his father an inspiration for generations of filmmakers and actors.
