- Vinod Kumar (BJP) – 52,043 votes
- Abdus Subhan (RJD) – 38,254 votes
- Margin of victory: 16,373 votes
Important thing: This victory was historic for AIMIM because Owaisi’s party won here for the first time.
Note: Currently, 7 criminal cases are registered against AIMIM MLA Syed Ruknuddin Ahmed, who is raising the RJD flag. 12th pass Syed Ruknuddin has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 93.21 lakh. There is also a liability of Rs 46.71 lakh.

In 2015, RJD won the Baissie seat.

- Binod Kumar (IND) – 28,282 votes
- Margin of victory: 38,740 votes

BJP captured this seat in 2010.
