  • Mithilesh Tiwari (BJP): 56,162 votes
  • Manjeet Kumar Singh (JDU): 42,047 votes
  • Margin of victory: 14,115 votes

Important thing: This election shows that BJP was strong in Baikunthpur, but RJD was not on the backfoot.

Baikunthpur assembly election, 2010

  • In 2010, JDU’s Manjeet Kumar Singh won from this seat.
  • Manjeet Kumar Singh (JDU): 70,105 votes
  • Devdutt Prasad (RJD): 33,581 votes
  • Margin of victory: 36,524 votes
