The Hari-Har Milan held at midnight between Mahakaleshwar Temple and Gopal Temple located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh is very famous. On this day, Mahakal’s procession goes to the temple of Gopal Ji, where Tulsi rosary and Belpatra rosary are exchanged between the two gods. Tulsi is offered to Lord Shiva and Bel Patra is offered to Lord Narayana. Around 11-12 o’clock in the night, the Mahakal procession takes place, in which the whole city is enthralled with the sounds of bhajan, kirtan, conch, damru and bells.
