The comment was made when an ambulance was stopped by the Chhatarpur police in which some women were found in suspicious circumstances. It was said that these women were living in the Bageshwar Dham campus by hiding their identity.

Posting in this context, the professor wrote, “The younger brother Dhirendra Shastri, announced by Non Biological Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is smuggling women under the guise of religion.” This post spread rapidly on social media and became the root of controversy.

According to complainant Gaur, this post not only tarnished the image of Baba Dhirendra Shastri, but also hurt religious sentiments of followers of Hinduism. On this basis, a case has been registered against Professor Ravikant at Bamitha police station under Section 353 (2) of the Indian Justice Code (2).
