Bageshwar Baba Padayatra
Today is the second day of the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra of Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham. As the Yatra is progressing, the enthusiasm of public support and devotion is also increasing. A spiritual enthusiasm is visible everywhere, with crowds gathering on the roadside, waves of saffron flags and slogans of Jai Shri Ram. This 10-day journey of Bageshwar Baba will end on 16th November.

Dhirendra Shastri has already clarified that “Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra is not a part of any political movement, rather it is an ideological revolution to awaken thoughts. We are not demanding a Hindu nation from the government. We want this nation to become Hindu in the hearts of the people. We only want that Sanatan Dharma should get its respect. By the grace of Hanuman ji, this Yatra should become a medium to awaken consciousness and strength among the people.”
Unique confluence of enthusiasm and devotion among people
On the second day of the yatra, people welcomed the Bageshwar government by showering flowers at various places. The enthusiasm from youth to elders was worth seeing. Many devotees said that it seemed as if some new energy had awakened within us, as if Hanuman ji himself was giving strength.
Message of unity, symbol of devotion
Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra now seems to be gradually taking the form of a big socio-cultural movement. Wherever this Yatra is reaching, the message of devotion and unity is spreading. This religious journey of Bageshwar Baba will end on 16 November 2025 after visiting Char Dham of Chhathikara and Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple of Vrindavan.
