  • First of all, take ripe vine and wash it thoroughly with water and then wipe it dry with a cloth.
  • The peel of the vine is very hard, so crack it with a rolling pin or some heavy object.
  • With the help of a knife, separate it completely from the peel so that it becomes easier to cut it into pieces.
  • If you want, you can cut the vine into small pieces or cut it into round, slightly thick slices.
  • Now you have to boil water in a pan and then install the steamer basket in it.
  • When the water starts boiling rapidly and steam starts coming out, put the pieces of wood apple in the basket and cover it.

  • Take a big pan and then add sugar candy in it. Keep in mind that if there is 1 kg sugar candy then add 1 liter water. If you want, you can take less sugar candy as per your need.
  • Now you have to boil it until thick syrup is ready. This may take at least half an hour.
  • Add cardamom powder to the prepared syrup and then add wood apple pieces to it. Cook the syrup with the vine pieces for 5 minutes and then turn off the gas.
