TRP of Hindi serials: The BARC TRP ratings for week 27 have been released. Guess what? There have been quite a few changes in the rankings of your favourite TV shows.
While Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to lead the charts, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya Season has witnessed a dip in viewership.
WHICH TV SERIAL GOT THE HIGHEST TRP IN 2025?
Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya Season, starring Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi, remained in the headlines throughout the launch period. Considering the star power in the show, fans eagerly waited for BALH season 4. While they are loving the on-screen drama and romance, the TRPs have not seen a major rise.
Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya season opened with a TVR of 0.4, which is very low in terms of Indian TV standards. Aami Dakini registered an opening of 0.5 in the first week. The supernatural show performed better than BALH 4.
Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehad Shehad maintained momentum for a few weeks but later slipped in the BARC TRP ratings. The show starring Abrar Qazi started with a rating of 1.5 in the first week. However, the show has dropped to a low of 1.1, as per BARC TRP ratings data in week 27.
Can you guess which is the number one new TV serial, with the maximum opening viewership in 2025? No, it’s not Tumm Se Tumm Tak or Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Naya Season. The number one show, according to BARC ratings, is Mannat-Har Khushi Paane Ki. The serial starring Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan started its journey with the biggest numbers on the small screen in the year.
“No matter what you say about Mannat. You can criticise the current storyline or the pacing of the show, but the show is at number one position, when it comes massive openings in 2025. Mannat registered a TRP of 1.8 in the first week, giving Colors one of its best launches of the year. Shows like Noyontara, Ram Bhavan and Meri Bhavya Life failed to garner ratings over 1.5 in the opening week,” a reliable industry source exclusively told Filmibeat.
