A spokesman for Max Hospital said that Tata Aig suddenly stopped cashless services from 10 September 2025. According to the hospital, Tata Aig had earlier signed a tariff agreement from 16 January 2025 to 15 January 2027. But in July 2025, the company suddenly demanded to reduce tariffs and cashless services were stopped when it did not accept it.

The spokesman said, “We rejected Tata Aig’s proposal to reduce unilateral tariffs. After this, the cashless facility for their policyholders in our hospitals was discontinued from September 10.

The Max Hospital spokesperson said the cashless facility is still going on for the policyholders of Neeva Bupa, although his contract has ended in May 2025. Neeva Bupa had demanded a tariff and reduction from the hospital, but the hospital described it as unacceptable. He says that this can affect the quality of patients’ safety and treatment.
