Pakistan’s team is going to play the final of the Asia Cup 2025 against India on September 28. He has a chance to win the Asia Cup title after 13 years. However, in front of him, Bharat’s team who has defeated him 2 times in this edition so far. Pakistan has suffered a crushing defeat in both these matches. Due to which the Pakistani team has also faced criticism. Meanwhile, a big update has come out about Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam.
Babar Azam’s Pakistan team will enter?
Babar Azam has not played a single T20 match for Pakistan this year. The reason for this is Babur’s poor strike rate in T20. But Pakistan’s batting in the Asia Cup has not been special. Pakistani batting has flopped in both matches against India. Due to which Babar Azam may return to the T20 team once again.
According to Pakistani media reports, after two recent defeats against India, PCB officials have ordered to bring Babar Azam back into the team. It was also decided to send the Pakistan Cricket Board to the UAE for the Asia Cup, but the organizers had made it clear to the board that until a player is injured, no changes could be made in the team. Due to which Babur’s team could not have an entry.

However, Babar Azam’s return for the T20 series against South Africa is believed to be fixed. The series will be played in late October, where South Africa team will go on a tour of Pakistan. Three T20 matches will be played between the two teams. But it has not been decided yet whether Babar Azam will play the role of the opener after the return or batting at number third or fourth.
