Baahubali: The Epic Teaser To Be Screened With Rajinikanth’s Coolie, Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR’s War 2 – Reports

The excitement for the upcoming box office clash between Rajinikanth’s Coolie and Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr NTR’s War 2 has reached new heights.

Recent reports suggest that the teaser for the upcoming combined Baahubali film, Baahubali: The Epic, will be screened alongside both films on August 14.

As per reports by Gulte, makers of the next film in the Baahubali film series, Baahubali: The Epic, are set to stream the first-ever teaser on August 14, during the screening of War 2 and Coolie in the theatres. Baahubali: The Epic is directed by SS Rajamouli and will be the combined version of the previously released Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion.

 

On July 10, SS Rajamouli shared on X (formerly Twitter), “Baahubali… The beginning of many journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with #BaahubaliTheEpic, a two-part combined film. In theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025.”

Baahubali: The Epic will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. The Baahubali films starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia.

Coolie and War 2 advance booking box office clash

According to advance booking data by Sacnilk, Coolie has taken a massive lead for Day 1, raking in an impressive Rs10.26 crore gross from 4.91 lakh tickets sold across India. The film’s Tamil version alone contributed a staggering Rs 10 crore with 4.88 lakh tickets, driven by Rajinikanth’s unmatched pull in the South. The Hindi version added around Rs 5 lakh, while the Telugu and Kannada versions brought in Rs 1.4 lakh and Rs 42,000, respectively.

In comparison, War 2 has so far recorded Rs 34.34 lakh gross from 9295 tickets sold. The Hindi 2D format leads with Rs 31.3 lakh, followed by the Tamil and Telugu versions, which have contributed Rs 1.33 lakh and Rs 72,180, respectively. The Hindi IMAX 2D format has brought in R 87,360 from just 97 tickets, showcasing strong premium demand.
