Baahubali: The Epic opened with decent numbers on day 1. The movie proved that there are some films which always remain in the hearts of the audience no matter what.

Helmed by S.S. Rajamouli, Baahubali: The Epic is a re-edited 3-hour-45-minute version that combines Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion into one seamless cinematic experience. As per a report by Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 10.4 crore.

Even after all these years, the craze for Baahubali remains undiminished. The re-release saw packed theatres and enthusiastic responses from fans across the country. Many, including first-time viewers, were thrilled to experience the remastered version on the big screen.

By earning Rs 10.4 crore on its opening day, it clearly shows that some films never lose their charm.

Helmed by S.S. Rajamouli, Baahubali: The Epic combines the re-edited versions of Baahubali: The Beginning (released in 2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (released in 2017).

The recent release by S.S. Rajamouli runs for 3 hours and 45 minutes, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience to audiences watching it on the big screen. The film has select sequences trimmed to make the experience for moviegoers more fast-paced and engaging.

It brings together the major highlights from both films, tracing Amarendra Baahubali’s journey to power and the epic battle for the throne of Mahishmati.

Apart from Prabhas, the film also features Ramya Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, and Rana Daggubati in key roles.

To make the release even more special, filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli gave a sweet surprise to fans in Hyderabad during the screening of the film. He walked into the packed auditorium before the screening began, making fans go gaga over him.

In a video shared by the makers, Rajamouli warmly greeted the audience and expressed his heartfelt gratitude. While addressing the crowd, he said, “I don’t think I can express my love in words. Thank you so much. It’s just your love. You guys continuously kept asking, and we thought to bring it back.”
