Here’s welcoming new actors to Hindi film industry with Azaad.
The film will mark the debut of Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha and Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgn.
The film will be led by Ajay Devgn who we will be seen after a busy Diwali with Singham Again. Azaad comes close on the heels of the successful launch of Singham Again.

Pegged as a historical drama, the film’s teaser opens with a voiceover recounting the legendary story of Maharana Pratap and his loyal steed Chetak, who bravely fought the British Army. He escapes brutal English armies but in all this, his horse goes missing.
A younger boy played by Aaman, is tasked with finding him. The teaser also gives us a peek at what Rasha and Aaman’s characters will look like in the film. Rasha dressed in regal attire comes from a well-to-do household while Aaman plays a warrior.
Azaad also features Diana Penty who will play Ajay Devgn’s love interest.
The film’s plot is around the themes of loyalty, family, and sacrifice.

Some are keen on seeing Ajay play this role and also congratulated him on his nephew’s debut. One wrote, “This is awesome#AamanDevgan All the best #AzaadTeaser #Azaad.” Another wrote, “Looks like another HIT after #SinghamAgain.”

Some didn’t like what they called the ‘Mexico/India filter’ to give the film a more historic feel.
Other users pointed their disapproval of “nepo babies”. One wrote, “Movie looks good, Nepo bacche look expressionless.” Another wrote, “Story is unique. Haven’t seen most of the mainstream movies revolving around and Animal. (Here it is a horse) But these nepodas/nepodis will ruin it.”
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad is set for release on the big screen in January 2025.
