Mumbai, Maharashtra: As Diwali festivities sweep across the nation, Bollywood is buzzing with celebratory gatherings. Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap recently hosted a grand Diwali bash at their Mumbai residence, bringing together friends and colleagues from the film industry.
This annual tradition saw a constellation of stars in attendance, including Karan Johar, Bhushan Kumar, Guneet Monga, Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana and his wife Aakriti, Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Twinkle Khanna, Shilpa Shetty, and Raj Kundra, among others. The couple’s residence transformed into a hub of festivity, with guests enjoying an evening of camaraderie and celebration.
Tahira Kashyap shared glimpses of the lively event on social media, showcasing celebrities dancing, posing for pictures, and engaging in spirited conversations. She expressed her joy, stating, “Let there be love and light. Diwali celebrations for Ayushmann and me have always been with our family and friends! Mumbai has become home, and so our friends are our extended family here! We slept at 5 am and danced till our feet hurt…the best feeling.”
The timing of the celebration was particularly special for Ayushmann Khurrana, as it coincided with the theatrical release of his latest film, ‘Udta Teer’. This spy-comedy, directed by Akash A Kaushik, marks his directorial debut and features Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, and Raghubir Yadav. Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Guneet Monga Kapoor, ‘Udta Teer’ is a collaboration between Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, adding an extra layer of excitement to Ayushmann’s festive season.
