Education of Ayushi Dabas, journey from teacher to IAS

Ayushi is a resident of Dabas Rani Kheda. Despite all the difficulties in childhood, he never left studying. After 12th, he started teaching as a contract teacher in Municipal Corporation School. Also, he completed college from NCWEB of Delhi University and finished first in three years. In 2012, he started a teacher’s job in Delhi government school. After this, he got an MA degree in history from IGNOU. In 2015, Ayushi started preparations for IAS from her mother’s inspiration and in the fourth attempt, he got 48th rank in UPSC and fulfilled her and her mother’s dreams. It was the best rank for a visually impaired candidate by that time.

How Ayushi Dabas reached KBC stage

Aayushi was selected in the KBC open competition held in Janakpuri in May this year. He was called to Mumbai on 3 September after crossing the phone round and other rounds. During this time Ayushi fulfilled both her mother’s big dreams. She met Prime Minister Narendra Modi some time ago and now also met actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Ayushi Dabas game and challenge in KBC

During KBC, Ayushi gave correct answers to many questions and surprised everyone by winning 25 lakh rupees. His question for 25 lakhs was- Who was only 11 years and 10 months old when she became the youngest Indian to participate in the Olympic Games in 1952? To answer this, he used his last life line signal indicator and gave the correct answer- Aarti Saha. With this answer, she won 25 lakh rupees. However, in the question of Rs 50 lakhs, she was asked which music band album was taken on Kalpana Chawla space, Aayushi could not answer this and after that she quit the game. Ayushi Dabas shared life on KBC stage

Ayushi Dabas shared his entire journey on KBC stage. He told how his mother, father and brother together recorded audio of books without saying to him so that he would be easy to read. Ayushi’s mother who worked as a senior nursing officer. But he quit his job to make his daughter an IAS. He recorded more than 100 books for his daughter. Ayushi also shared an anecdote when a teacher from her school commented about her mother’s efforts as to why Ayushi’s mother is so upset, what will she become even after reading.
