Ayush Badoni IPL Salary: How Much Money Lucknow Super Giants Batter Ea

has earned his maiden India call-up and he has replaced Washington Sundar in the ODI squad for the last two games against New Zealand.

Badoni was set to lead Delhi in the quarter-final against Vidarbha. But the team will be now be without his services. Badoni is a like-for-like replacement for Sundar and he is a strong contender to make his debut in the second ODI. The right-handed batsman is a finisher and he can chip in with crucial wickets when needed. Badoni earned his maiden India A call-up in 2025 and he has now been rewarded.

Badoni plays for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL. He made his IPL debut for LSG in 2022 and has been with them since then. LSG spotted him in domestic cricket and bought him at his base price of Rs 20 lakh in the IPL 2022 mega-auction.

Badoni became LSG’s permanent finisher after his debut and LSG retained him before the IPL 2025 mega-auction too. Since Badoni was uncapped, LSG retained him for Rs 4 crore and will continue the same amount till the next mega-auction.

LSG will have to increase his retention amount before the next mega-auction (if he is retained) if he makes his debut before that.

Aayush Badoni’s IPL career

Ayush Badoni made a memorable IPL debut for LSG and scored a half-century. Coming out to bat at number six, Badoni scored 54 off 41 balls. He joined Deepak Hooda in the middle when LSG were reeling at 29/4 on their IPL debut. Courtesy of fifties from Badoni and Hooda, LSG put on a total of 158/6 on the board. Gujarat Titans, who were also making their debut, chased down the target in 19.4 overs. Badoni scored 161 runs in 11 innings in IPL 2022.

He scored 238 runs in 2023 and followed up with 235 runs in the next season. He breached the 300-run mark for the first time in IPL 2025 and scored 329 runs in the season. He has four wickets in the T20 league.
