On the occasion of Ayurveda Day 2025, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said- ‘Nuogi kaya is true happiness’. 12 new Ayush Hospitals, 3 new colleges and new schemes for cancer patients.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that “Arogya Paramam Bhagya” in Indian culture is recognized. The ancestors had told seven happiness, the first is happiness – the healthy body. He said that sciences like Yoga and Ayurveda are heritage of India. Their basic principle is to protect health before the disease. Only by following Ayurveda, we can get the blessings of “Ayushman Bhava”.
MoU in AYUSH and Tourism Department, wellness will be promoted
On National Ayurveda Day, the program was held in Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium. The Chief Minister lit the lamp and launched.
- An agreement was reached between Ayush and the Department of Tourism to promote wellness.
- New units of AYUSH Public Health Program will start in 55 districts.
- The “Karunya” program was launched for cancer patients.
- The helpline started for medicinal plants.
- Monthly magazine Middle Herbal Darpan was released.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s unwavering faith in Ayurveda
Dr. Yadav said that due to his routine and confidence in Ayurveda, he is away from diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes. He said that with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the recognition of yoga and Ayurveda has increased all over the world. Today more than 150 countries are adopting Ayurveda. This year’s theme was – “Ayurveda for people and planet” means Ayurveda is not only for humans but for the whole earth.
New courses and posts in Ayush colleges
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made big announcements:
- All Ayush colleges will conduct undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- New academic and non-educational positions will be created.
- AYUSH doctors will get the same pay scale as the Health Department.
- 1453 Ayush, 228 homeopathy and 85 Unani physicians will benefit.
- 300 officers will be given 3 advance salary facility.
- Greek colleges will now study in Hindi language.
New AYUSH Services and Hospitals
- Ayurvedic medicines will be more cheap after GST improvement.
- The gift of 12 new AYUSH hospitals was found in the state.
- Ayush welding hospitals with 50-50 beds will be built in Ujjain and Khajuraho.
- Small hospitals with 10-10 beds will start in Pachmarhi, Mandsaur, Chitrakoot and other districts.
- A new toll-free helpline number was launched for medicinal farming.
Extension and new studies of Ayurveda colleges
- 3 new Ayurveda colleges will open in Jhabua, Shujalpur and Dindori.
- In 3 colleges, new pharmacy building and 50 -bed hospital will be built in Khandwa.
- B.Sc. in Bhopal, Jabalpur and Ujjain Nursing course will begin.
Increased scope of AYUSH services
- Last year, more than 1.5 crore people got Ayurvedic health services.
- 1.93 lakh people benefited from programs like Supraja, Ayurviddha, Vyomitra and treaty disease prevention.
- A special campaign is going on for the eradication of sickle cell anemia.
- 800 Ayush dispensaries were developed as “Ayushman Arogya Temple”.
- Medicinal farming is being promoted in tribal areas under the Deoranya scheme.
- In the last one year, 595 AYUSH doctors were appointed.
Ayurvedic knowledge documentation
Ayush Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that Ayurveda and Yoga are part of Indian lifestyle. Khushilal Ayurvedic College of Bhopal has been linked to tourism. Further other colleges will also be linked to wellness tourism. Documentation of traditional Ayurvedic knowledge is being started. The AYUSH department plans that homeopathic colleges should also be established.
