Vice President of Guyana, Dr. Bharat Jagdev reached Ayodhya and worshiped Ram Lalla and inspected the construction works. He was given a grand welcome at Valmiki Airport. Extensive security arrangements were made for the tour.
Ayodhya. Vice President of Guyana, Dr. Bharat Jagdev reached Ramnagari Ayodhya on Saturday. He along with his delegation had darshan and worship of Ramlala at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. He also bowed his head with reverence in other temples built in the temple premises. The Vice President stayed in the temple premises for about an hour. During this, he also inspected the ongoing construction works. He appeared very happy after seeing the grand and new Ayodhya.
Grand welcome at Valmiki Airport
On Saturday morning, Dr. Bharat Jagdev reached Valmiki Airport with his delegation by private plane. He was given a grand welcome amid blowing of conch shells and traditional dance of the artists. He was welcomed at the airport by Food and Logistics Minister Satish Chandra Sharma, District Panchayat President Roli Singh, Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, Milkypur MLA Chandrabhanu Paswan, Commissioner Rajesh Kumar, DIG Somen Verma and DM Nikhil Tikaram Funde.
Tight security arrangements in Ayodhya
SP City Chakrapani Tripathi informed that extensive security arrangements were made for the visit of the Vice President. Special security arrangements remained in force at the temple premises and the airport.
