Ayodhya made two Guinness World Records on Chhoti Diwali, Ram city illuminated with 26.17 lakh lamps

On Chhoti Diwali, Ramnagari Ayodhya was illuminated with lamps. During this period, Ayodhya registered its name in the Guinness World Records by lighting 26.17 lakh earthen lamps. With this, another new world record was created by 2,128 people performing Aarti together.

Ayodhya Deepotsav World Record: Two new Guinness World Records were created in the holy city of Ayodhya on Sunday. The first record was made of lighting more than 26 lakh earthen lamps at one place during Deepotsav. At the same time, the second world record was of 2,128 people performing Aarti together. Let us tell you that Ayodhya registered its name in the Guinness World Record by lighting 26,17,215 earthen lamps during the Deepotsav organized on Chhoti Diwali.

Guinness team captured burning lamps from drone

According to reports, representatives of the Guinness Book of World Records announced this record by confirming the count of lamps lit with the help of drones. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was given the Guinness World Record certificate by state Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh and Principal Secretary Amrit Abhijat. Let us tell you that the biggest display of lamps till date was jointly organized by Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, Ayodhya Administration and Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University.

7 episodes of Ramayana shown in tableau procession

Earlier on Sunday, on the occasion of Deepotsav and Chhoti Diwali, a huge procession was taken out in Ayodhya, in which 22 tableaux were shown. Hundreds of devotees watched this procession on the Rampath amid slogans of Jai Shri Ram. This procession was taken out by the Information Department, Ayodhya Development Authority and Tourism and Culture Department. The tableau procession depicted the journey of Lord Ram through the seven chapters of Ramayana – Balakand, Ayodhyakand, Aranyakand, Kishkindhakand, Sunderkand, Lankakand and Uttarkand.
