Ayodhya News: Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram, is completely busy these days in the preparations for Deepotsav 2025. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the identity of Ramnagari is improving not only as a spiritual center but also as a cultural and artistic splendor. This time the celebration of Deepotsav is transforming Ayodhya into a unique cultural canvas, where flyovers, walls and roads are decorated with scenes from Ramayana and artistic 3D paintings. This view is becoming a center of attraction not only for the local people but also for the devotees and tourists coming from India and abroad.

- This time the flyovers of Ayodhya are becoming a medium for the lively depiction of Ram Katha in the Deepotsav. Ayodhya Development Authority is getting various episodes of Ramayana engraved on major flyovers of the city through paintings and murals. Scenes like Ram’s birth, exile, Ravana’s killing and Ram-Sita’s union have been brought to life through art. Local and national level artists have displayed their talent in these paintings.
- 3D pictures are being carved on the walls of flyovers and bypasses near Saadatganj, Naka, Devkali and Saket Petro Pump. More work has started at some places, so that every traveler can come face to face with the story of Ram.

Local artists have also got a chance
The walls of Ayodhya decorated with scenes from Ramayana are becoming a symbol of the cultural splendor of the festival of lights this time. Scenes from Ramayana have been painted on the walls of major roads, temples and public places in the city. These include scenes like Hanuman ji burning Lanka, Ram-Lakshman dialogue and Sita abduction. These figures depict Lord Ram, Mother Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman as well as the ancient culture of Ayodhya. Tourists are mesmerized by seeing these paintings and are sharing them on social media, thereby further strengthening the global identity of Ayodhya.

Grand preparations for the festival of lights
Yogi government has left no stone unturned to make Deepotsav a global event. Every street, every intersection and every corner of Ayodhya is decorated with lamps and colors. The grandeur of the festival will be further enhanced by the lighting of lakhs of lamps on the banks of Saryu. Apart from this, laser show, cultural program and staging of Ramlila will also be a part of the festival. The government’s aim is that Deepotsav should not only be a religious event, but it should also take India’s cultural heritage to the world stage.
