Preparations for Deepotsav 2025 in Ayodhya are in full swing. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, millions of diyas will shine at 56 ghats. Thirty thousand volunteers will participate in the event and decoration work is going on at the ghats.
Ayodhya. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations for the Deepotsav 2025 to be organized by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University are going on loudly. The work of marking and decoration on the ghats for this world -famous event, which illuminates Lord Shri Ram’s birthplace Ayodhya, continues rapidly.
Cleaning and decoration of ghats continues under the direction of Vice Chancellor
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Colonel Dr. Bijendra Singh, the university team is engaged in giving attractive and systematic look to the ghats. Deepotsav’s Nodal Officer Prof. Sant Sharan Mishra said that the marking work has started after complete cleaning of the ghats. He informed that an area of 4.5 square feet has been set in every block for decoration of lamps, while two and a half feet wide route has been left for the movement of devotees.
Lakhs of diyas will be decorated on 56 ghats
This year, a total of 56 ghats have been identified for the Deepotsav, where the light of millions of lamps will illuminate the entire Ayodhya. Dr. Ranjan Singh (Head of Department, Microbiology) and his team will complete this task within a week. The goal of the university administration is that such a supernatural shade of lamps is scattered on every ghat, which further highlights the identity of Ayodhya.
Thirty thousand volunteers will handle the responsibility of Deepotsav
Online registration of thirty thousand volunteers for the smooth operation of Deepotsav 2025 has reached the final stage. These volunteers will be deployed at the ghats, who will handle the task of lighting lamps, maintaining arrangements and supporting visitors. The university informed that soon the supply process of lamps will also be started so that all preparations can be completed on time.
Ayodhya will become a city of light on the world stage
This grand Deepotsav will not only have a cultural event, but will be a global performance of the glorious tradition and spirituality of Ayodhya. With this event, Ayodhya will once again establish its identity on the world stage as the “city of Rama – the city of light”. Through Deepotsav, the objective of the state government is to bring India’s cultural heritage and spiritual consciousness to the whole world.
