Is Awarapan 2 fever fading away? Well, if the box office trend is anything to go by, not anytime soon. The Emraan Hashmi starrer, a sequel to his iconic 2007 romantic film, is continuing its dream run at the ticket windows. After a bumper opening, the film saw a massive rise in footfall over the weekend. While the first Monday brought its daily earnings to single digits, there has been no stopping it. On Day 6 in theatres, the film witnessed another dip. However, it is still minting the moolah and giving tough competition to Batwara 1947, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.

According to reports, recorded an overall 16.72% occupancy across cities. It earned Rs 6.75 crore on Day 6, taking its total box office collection to Rs 107.50 crore.

Meanwhile, in international markets, the film collected Rs 1.50 crore on its sixth day. With this, its overseas gross comes to Rs 25.30 crore. The film’s worldwide collection currently stands at Rs 153.59 crore.

is locking horns with Aamir Khan-backed at the box office. Since Day 1, the Emraan Hashmi starrer has stayed ahead in the numbers race. Currently, the Sunny Deol film stands at Rs 32.15 crore. Reports suggest that it could struggle to become a hit.
Meanwhile, Awarapan 2, made on a budget of Rs 45 crore, has already emerged as a blockbuster. The film recently became Emraan Hashmi’s first solo Rs 100 crore project. It has shattered several other box office records with its impressive collections. If the trend continues, the sequel will rank among the highest-grossing films of 2026, alongside films like Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film also features Shabana Azmi, Disha Patani and Puran Gabbi in key roles.
