After taking the opening game with authority, Pawar was pushed back as Arthav fought hard to level proceedings in the second. However, Pawar regained control when it mattered most, producing a composed decider to close out the match and emerge champion in one of the tournament’s most competitive encounters.
Pawar’s winning momentum continued in the Open Doubles category, where he teamed up with Aditya Nandal to defeat Aryan Chauhan and Apoorv Sharma 9-11, 11-6, 11-2 in another entertaining final. After dropping the opening game, Pawar and Nandal responded emphatically, adjusting their strategy and dominating the final two games with aggressive intent and better court coordination. Meanwhile, the Under-18 Doubles final produced another exciting battle as Shubham Khandelwal and Miheet Dhaneja overcame Gaurav Sood and Saaish Arora 11-7, 6-11, 11-2 to clinch the title.
