In an announcement that has left the Marvel fandom freaking out, the Studios is set to re-release the 2019 blockbuster on the big screen to enable audience to relive the magic of the movie that continues to remain the biggest event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

On December 6, Marvel throught its official social media handles announced that it would be bringing back Avengers: Endgame in theatres in September 2026. The announcement post came with a clip with the audio “On your left,” a dialogue falcon utters to Captain America before Doctor Strange resurrects all the superheroes, and the insane audience reaction it received back then. “Back in theatres. September 2026,” the text read.

Infact, actor Jeremy Renner also shared the news on Instagram with a screen shot of the “Avengers assemble” and how the viral clip from a cinema hall had broken the internet in 2019. Director duo Russo Brothers posted the same clip and wrote, “We can’t wait to share this with you on the big screen again… Avengers: Endgame is back in theaters September 2026.”
The latest annoncement comes as Marvel gears up for Avengers: Doomday, on December 18, 2026, when the team of heroes gathers up against Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom.

The news is taking over social media with MCU fans calling it the perfect New Year gift. One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “And this is how you end the year with good news! Can’t wait for September now.” Another one said, “HEEELLOOOOOOOOOOO ??? OH BVTCH WE WILL BE WATCHING AGAIN SO I CAN SEE CINEMA IN FULL EFFECT.”
