Sophie Molineau is the captain of Melbourne Renegades in the Women’s Big Bash League, she has been leading the team since 2021 and took the team to the final in the 2024-25 season. Due to which he can be made the new captain of the Australian team. However, at present the vice-captain of Australia is Tahlia McGrath. Sophie Molineau is a bowling all-rounder, who plays in all three formats for Australia. He has played 3 Tests, 17 ODIs and 38 T20 matches for Australia so far. He has 7 wickets in Test, 31 wickets in ODI and 41 wickets in T20. Apart from this, she also contributes in batting. In the Women’s Big Bash League, she has taken 97 wickets so far, along with this she has also scored 1742 runs. She has also been a part of RCB team in WPL.
