2026 Audi A6 allroad powertrains
For the first time, Audi is offering the A6 allroad with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, comprising a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with an electric motor. Combined output from this setup is rated at 367hp and 500Nm, and the 25.9kWh (20.7kWh net) battery pack allows for an electric-only range of up to 95km on the WLTP cycle. The 0-100kph sprint is done in a claimed 5.5 seconds, and the car tops out at 250kph. Audi says it takes 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery with an 11kW AC charger.

A 3-litre V6 diesel with mild hybrid assist is also on offer, producing 299hp and 580Nm. Compared to the PHEV, the allroad diesel can reach 100kph from rest in a slightly quicker 5.4 seconds, though the top speed is the same at 250kph.
2026 Audi A6 allroad specifications
Audi has made the A6 allroad wider than the Avant for the first time, with a 111mm difference between the two. Even the front and rear tracks are wider by 74mm and 70mm, respectively, while the ground clearance is up by 34mm. Since it comes with air suspension, as mentioned before, the ground clearance can be extended a further 15mm in allroad-specific off-road modes. To accommodate the higher ride height, the shock absorber settings are adjusted. For better stability at high speeds, the ground clearance can be lowered as well.

Audi also says the allroad has improved agility because of a rear axle that can steer up to 5 degrees in the opposite direction to the front, reducing the turning circle by up to a metre. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the PHEV and available as an option for the diesel.
2026 Audi A6 allroad exterior and interior highlights

On the outside, the allroad stands apart from the Avant with a more menacing front bumper, different grille design and wider tyres. Moreover, its styling package comes with a chunky skid plate, diffuser, side skirts, roof bars and a sportier rear bumper. Meanwhile, LED headlights and tail-lights continue to be offered, just like the Avant. A trailer hitch is optionally available too, allowing the A6 allroad to tow additional loads of 2,000kg in PHEV form and 2,500kg in diesel guise.

As for the interior, the layout is similar to the Avant’s, though a four-spoke round steering wheel is new. The allroad has been equipped with a 14.5-inch touchscreen display with wireless smartphone connectivity and an 11.9-inch driver’s display. A 10.9-inch passenger screen is also available, albeit as an option. Seat ventilation and massage functions, along with a dimmable panoramic glass roof, have been provided for occupants’ comfort, while a four-zone climate control system and electric door-closing assist are optional. Buyers can also opt for a Bang & Olufsen sound system with speakers fitted in the front seat headrests.

The second row of seats folds down in a 40:20:40 split and can be easily operated using the remote release in the luggage compartment. Boot space is 466 litres for the diesel and 404 litres for the PHEV.
In international markets, the A6 allroad competes with the likes of the Skoda Superb Scout, Volvo V90 Cross Country and Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain.
