The impact of cyclonic storm ‘Montha’ has started becoming visible in Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain and strong winds in the districts of Purvanchal including Azamgarh, Varanasi, Mirzapur on 30 and 31 October. People have been appealed to remain alert.
