Delhi News: In the country’s capital Delhi, you will now get a full meal for just Rs 5. Actually, Rekha Gupta government of Delhi has started Atal Canteen for this. Under which nutritious and filling food will be provided to the people for just Rs 5. The government’s objective behind this is that daily wage earners, rickshaw pullers and low income people can get good quality food at low prices. Or we can say that the aim of the government is that no person should sleep hungry in Delhi.
Know where Reeh Atal Canteen will be started in Delhi.
Let us tell you that in the first phase of this scheme, Delhi Government is going to start Atal Canteens simultaneously at 100 places in Delhi. Canteen work has already started in Shalimar Bagh, Rajendra Nagar, Rohini, Patel Nagar, Badarpur and Karawal Nagar. Here on 25th December, the birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, needy people will also start getting food.
Food to 500 people at one time
Let us tell you that this Atal canteen of Delhi Government will be open daily in the morning and evening. That means you will get food twice a day. At least 500 plates will be available in an Atal canteen at a time. That means the government will make arrangements to feed 500 people at a time in a canteen.
Another promise of Delhi government fulfilled
Launching the Atal Canteen Scheme, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the promise we had made in our resolution letter of opening Atal Canteen in Delhi, today is taking an important step towards the fulfillment of that resolution. Our government is working in mission mode with the aim of starting 100 Atal Canteens in Delhi on 25th December, the birthday of respected Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.
Digital token system for Rs 5 meal
In these canteens, nutritious food will be provided to the needy for just ₹5. Every Atal canteen will have a clean serving area, digital token system, real-time CCTV monitoring and pure drinking water so that every person can eat in a dignified, safe and orderly manner.
