New Delhi: Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the on-shelf availability of the handheld gaming device ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X across India, along with an extensive lineup of accessories. Both the devices are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen Z2 Series processors, and are designed to provide a comfortable gaming experience. While the devices are built for portability, they work very well with those who already own an Xbox, allowing wireless streaming of games. The prices for the ROG Xbox Ally starts at Rs 69,990 while the ROG Xbox Ally X has a starting price of Rs 1,14,990.
The ROG Xbox Ally 2-in-1 premium case, made with a water-repellent PU material has a hard shell and doubles as a stand. Priced at Rs 3,999, it will be available by the end of October, with all the other accessories available from 11 October. The ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 can be picked up for Rs 7,999 with a 7-in-1 hub supporting HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, Ethernet and an audio jack, to extend the connectivity options for the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X. The dock features an innovative flip-cover stand, and has a compact design with a focus on portability. The ROG Slash Sling Bag 4.0 is priced at Rs 4,999 and has quick-access pockets.
ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X specifications
Both the devices have fine details that give them a premium look and feel. The ROG Xbox Ally X is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, while the ROG Xbox Ally is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor. Both the devices feature seven inch IPS displays in the 16:9 aspect ratio, going up to 500 nits in brightness, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The displays are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The ROG Xbox Ally X is supported by generous 24 GB of RAM, with one TB of onboard storage, while the ROG Xbox Ally packs in 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of onboard storage. The ROG Xbox Ally X has a longer battery life of 80 Wh, while the ROG Xbox Ally features a 60 Wh battery.
