New Delhi: ASUS has introduced a new range of laptops under its ExpertBook B Series in India, focused on business users and professionals. The lineup, announced on July 23, includes the ExpertBook B5, B5 Flip, and B9, all powered by Intel Core Ultra processors.
The laptops come with Copilot integration built into Windows 11 Pro, and ASUS is clearly targeting enterprise buyers who need AI-powered productivity without compromising on build quality or battery life.
Designed for professionals on the move
The ExpertBook B9 is the lightest in the new range and is designed for senior executives who travel frequently. Weighing just 990 grams and made from magnesium-lithium alloy, it promises portability without cutting back on performance. It runs on Intel Core Ultra 7 processors with Intel AI Boost NPU and comes with Intel vPro support. ASUS says the laptop is built with recycled materials and offers up to 11 hours of battery life.
The B5 Flip and B5 are meant for users who prefer a traditional or convertible format. Both run on Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 processors and feature AI-enabled noise cancellation for meetings. The Flip version, in particular, features a 360-degree hinge for tablet-style usage.
Vinit Shah, Regional Director, Commercial PC & Smartphone Business, ASUS India, said, “The launch of the new ExpertBook series is a significant step in empowering enterprises and business professionals in India with AI-powered computing.”
Business-first features across the lineup
Here are some of the features that stand out:
- All three laptops offer military-grade durability with US MIL-STD 810H certification.
- Built-in security features like TPM 2.0, webcam shield, fingerprint sensors, and IR cameras.
- Each model is made with post-consumer recycled materials and EPEAT Silver or Gold ratings, indicating attention to sustainability.
- Copilot is integrated into the taskbar, allowing users to access AI tools like summarising documents, creating presentations, or analysing spreadsheets quickly.
Local availability and ASUS support
The ExpertBook B Series laptops will be available in India through ASUS’ commercial PC channel partners. ASUS has also launched several support offerings for businesses, including Accidental Damage Protection and International Warranty.
ASUS is betting big on the Indian enterprise market, and with hybrid work becoming the norm, lightweight and AI-powered machines like these could be attractive for sectors like IT, consulting, and remote service providers.
The new ExpertBooks are part of ASUS’ broader commercial strategy in India, where it also offers AiO desktops, mini-PCs, and mobile workstations. The company says it will continue to focus on high-performance computing for professionals with sustainability and security as key priorities.
