When will ‘Assi’ come on OTT (Assi OTT Release Date)
Investigative courtroom thriller ‘Assi’ will release in theaters on February 20, 2026. Its digital streaming can start from 17 April 2026 (tentative) on ZEE5 (OTTplay Premium) after the industry standard 56-day window. The official announcement will be made after the box office performance.

What is the story of ‘Assi’?
The story of the film is inspired by ’80’ i.e. the figure of sexual harassment cases registered daily in India. The story revolves around a teacher named Parima, who is a survivor of a heinous crime. Taapsee Pannu will be seen fighting for justice in the role of a defense lawyer ‘Raavi’.

Taapsee Pannu’s third film with Anubhav Sinha
The screenplay of ‘Assi’ has been co-written by Gaurav Solanki and Anubhav Sinha. Earlier both had worked together in Article 15. This is the third film of Taapsee and Anubhav, before this both of them had done ‘Mulk’ and ‘Thappad’ together, which were highly appreciated.
