The story of ‘Assi’ begins with a school teacher named Parima (Kani Kushruti), who becomes a victim of brutality while returning home late at night. The case reaches the court, where the accused try to prove themselves innocent. The film presents the court proceedings, the interrogation of the victim and the society’s attitude in a very harsh and uncomfortable manner.
