The Bigg Boss 13 fame actor has issued a formal cease-and-desist notice over allegations concerning his past relationship with Himanshi Khurana. As per a new report, Asim’s legal representative has accused Bhavya of making false, unverified and defamatory statements that could harm his reputation and professional career. The notice specifically addresses claims suggesting that Asim had been physically violent towards Himanshi, along with remarks concerning his financial dependence on an unidentified woman in Dubai. Asim has denied the allegations.

Asim Riaz has taken legal action against social media influencer Bhavya Singh following remarks she made during a podcast about his past relationship with Himanshi Khurana. The Bigg Boss 13 fame actor has issued a formal cease-and-desist legal notice to Bhavya, who previously appeared on MTV Splitsvilla 12, as well as media platforms that circulated the disputed remarks.
According to IANS, the notice was sent through Asim’s legal representative and accuses Bhavya of making statements that are false, unverified and damaging to his reputation. The dispute centres on comments concerning Asim and Himanshi’s relationship and the alleged reason behind their breakup.
As mentioned in the legal notice, Bhavya said during the podcast, “mereko bohot time pehle ye baat sunne ko ayi thi, maine pucha tha kisi se ki Asim aur Himanshi ka breakup kyu hua toh kisi ne bola ki ‘bhai wo pagal aadmi hai, maarta peetta tha, bada hi bekar aadmi hai.”

The statement, as translated in the notice, refers to an allegation that Asim was physically abusive towards Himanshi. According to the notice, Bhavya subsequently linked the alleged claims to later events and referred to the alleged existence of a video involving the actor. The legal notice also addresses remarks allegedly suggesting that Asim was financially dependent on an unidentified woman and was allegedly “living upon” her money in Dubai.

Asim’s legal counsel has strongly rejected the allegations and stated that the remarks wrongly portray the actor as someone who physically assaulted Himanshi.
The notice states, “Our Client states that the aforesaid publication contains statements made by Noticee No. 1 (Bhavya Singh) which falsely and seriously impute our Client acts of physical violence against Ms. Himanshi Khurana and further impute that our Client is financially dependent upon an unidentified woman and is allegedly ‘living upon’ such woman’s money in Dubai”.
Asim has described the allegations as false and damaging to his public image, reputation and professional career. Advocate Suhail Shariff, Partner at Falcon Legal, said, “Our client will not permit any defamatory or legally actionable statements against him. A formal cease-and-desist notice has been issued, and appropriate legal action shall follow in case of non-compliance”.

Through the notice, Bhavya has been asked to stop making or repeating statements that considers defamatory or legally actionable. Media outlets that published or shared the podcast and related material have also been asked to remove the disputed content. The recipients have been given 72 hours to comply with the notice. Asim’s legal counsel has warned that failure to comply could lead to further legal proceedings before the appropriate courts and authorities.
Meanwhile, the Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz controversy has resurfaced nearly three years after their breakup, with both Bigg Boss 13 stars making serious allegations against each other. What began with Himanshi discussing religious differences and alleged conversion pressure has escalated into a public war involving claims of physical violence, personal attacks, and threats to release alleged evidence. Asim has denied pressuring Himanshi to convert and accused her of using their relationship for fame, while Himanshi has alleged that she faced physical violence during their relationship and claimed to have CCTV footage and audio recordings as proof.
