Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship: Despite winning the title of Asia Cup 2025, Team India has not been able to get the trophy yet. Due to the despicable actions of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Mohsin Naqvi, the Indian team returned from Dubai without taking the trophy. The trophy controversy has not stopped yet that ACC has announced a new tournament. In this the teams of India and Pakistan will clash once again. This championship is going to start from 14th November.
Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship schedule released
ACC has released the schedule of Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship. In this, an exciting match can be seen between India and Pakistan on 16th November. First Emerging Asia Cup This tournament, known as IPL, will now be played from 14 to 23 November at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar. 8 teams from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman, UAE and Hong Kong will participate in this tournament. In this tournament also, India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group.
India and Pakistan are in one group
The five Test playing Asian countries will field their ‘A’ teams, while UAE, Oman and Hong Kong will participate in this championship with their senior teams. A total of 15 T20 matches will be played in this. India, Pakistan, Oman and UAE have been kept in one group.
The second group includes teams from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong. The format of the tournament does not include Super-4 stage. The top two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals. Afghanistan team became champion in the tournament held in the year 2024.
The ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup has been renamed as the Asia Cup Rising Stars to held in Doha, Qatar.
In this new Asia Cup, full member nations will field their A teams, while associate nations will field their main teams.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi may get a chance in the team
Last season, the Indian team included players like Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Chahar, Prabhsimran Singh, Sai Kishore and Anshul Kamboj. Tilak Verma was made the captain of the team.
