Right now the controversy of no handshake has not stopped that Pakistan seems to be stuck in another big difficulty. Now the International Cricket Council (ICC) is considering taking action on the Pakistan cricket team regarding a case. Earlier, the Pakistan team had made a lot of ruckus to remove the referee Andy Picroft. Because of this, the match against the United Arab Emirates started an hour late. By winning this match, Pakistan has made it to Super-4, but now the sword of action is hanging on it.
What is the whole matter?
In the Asia Cup 2025, the last league match of Group-A was played between UAE and Pakistan. The match started an hour late, as Pakistan match was adamant on removing the referee Andy Picroft. However, Pakistan later agreed and landed to play the match against UAE.
According to TOI reports, ICC is considering taking action against Pakistan for violation of several rules before the match against UAE. The CEO of the ICC has sent an email to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
