Hawk Force Inspector Ashish Sharma was martyred during a joint operation against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid tribute and announced that his younger brother would be inducted into government service. The government will provide all assistance to the family.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that during the ongoing joint operation against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, Inspector Ashish Sharma of Hawk Force in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh attained martyrdom while fighting bravely. Paying tribute to the martyred inspector, he said that the spirit of the state government always remains with its soldiers. When a brave young man sacrifices his life for the country, he gets a place at the feet of God.
Government stands with martyr’s family
The Chief Minister said that the government stands strongly with the martyr’s family in this tragic time. He announced that the younger brother of martyr Ashish Sharma will be taken into government service. Along with this, all the needs of the family will be taken care of and they will be provided all the facilities and honorarium.
‘Such incidents will not weaken our resolve’- CM Yadav
Speaking to the media at Nagaud in Satna district, the Chief Minister said that such incidents cannot weaken the government’s resolve to end Naxalism. Under the guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, strict action against Naxalites and hardened criminals will continue. He said that those who oppress the poor and helpless will not be spared under any circumstances.
Continuous campaign against Naxalism
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Union Home Minister, continuous action is being taken against Naxalites in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and across the country. During the joint operation in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday, central security forces and state soldiers jointly conducted the operation, in which Inspector Ashish Sharma was martyred while fighting bravely. He reiterated that the government will provide all possible assistance to the martyr’s family and all arrangements will be completed with respect.
