WWE SummerSlam: Brock Lesnar ended the two-year long wait for his fans with an appearance in the WWE SummerSlam event on Sunday. Lesnar is often being referred to as the “The Beast Incarnate,” has been away from the ring due to his involvement in the Janel Grant lawsuit against WWE founder Vince McMahon. With the legal matters getting resolved, Lesnar is back where he belongs.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reported that Lesnar was legally cleared to return by WWE about four weeks before his SummerSlam comeback. Meltzer, who works at Wrestling Observer Radio reported that Lesnar was cleared to participate four weeks ago before the marquee event and iterated that WWE avoided most press conferences to keep it as a secret.

Notably, Lesnar’s last WWE appearance was marred by his defeat against Cody Rhodes at the SummerSlam 2023. Also, he made his comeback during Rhodes victory against superstar John Cena in a brutal Street Fight to win the Undisputed WWE Championship on Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025. Cena was shocked to Lesnar entering the ring as he performed a F5 To Cena, kicking off another dramatic storyline for WWE’s future.
Triple H, the current Chief Content Office, stated that Cena asked to work with Lesnar during his ‘farewell’ tour.

Brock Lesnar’s Controversy?
Janel Grant, who is a former WWE Superstar sued McMahon, for his alleged involvement in sex trafficking while subjugating her to sexual acts. Interetingly, the lawsuit also named Lesnar, stated that McMahon offered Grant to him for sexual favours.
A spokesperson from the Janel Grant’s team told USA TODAY Sports, “For far too long, abuse was allowed to thrive under WWE’s leadership. Instead of addressing this issue, WWE has done nothing to hold those responsible accountable. This attempt to sweep misconduct under the rug will backfire,” the spokesperson said. “We look forward to the full set of facts, including those concerning Mr. Lesnar, being revealed in a court of law where they belong.”
