Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s risqué series The Ba*ds Of Bollywood has been sanctioned a sequel. Many feel the crude, smug series hardly deserves one. But that’s another story. This time, however, conditions apply.
The first season was criticised for its excessive profanity, street-level (sadak-chaap) dialogue and an irreverent, abrasive tone that some viewers felt became repetitive and made the show unsuitable for family viewing.
For Season 2, Khan Jr. is reportedly being asked to tone it down. There will be no extra leeway to go overboard with the irreverence and vulgarity simply because he is Shah Rukh Khan’s son.
According to a source, the sequel is expected to be a more “vegetarian” version of the first season.
