Aryan Khan reveals he was asked to cut certain scenes in Ba***s of Bollywood due to…, says ‘I took a…’

Aryan Khan has been in the headlines ever since his directorial debut The Ba**ds of Bollywood* premiered on Netflix. Viewers called the web series binge-worthy, and the performances were widely appreciated by the audience.

While the show received positive reviews, a controversy also erupted when ex-Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede filed a defamation case against the makers of the show. Amid everything, Aryan Khan has finally opened up on the matter.

In an interview with Variety, Aryan Khan shared, “We did get some notes on certain scenes where they were like, ‘Oh, this is too this, or this is too that,’ but then I took a stand.”

He further added, “If you don’t like it, I mean, the show is not meant for you, or it is meant for you, but you might not like it; your 18-year-old kid might like it. Your uncle might like it who likes certain kinds of humor or certain kinds of jokes.”

In the interview, he also admitted that while many aspects of the show are based on facts, they are often exaggerated for the audience.

While Aryan’s show is majorly based on reality, a lot has also been exaggerated. Aryan said, “There’s many truths, many lies that kind of are disguised and vice versa, and it’s just the novelty of the mystery or the wonder that entices audiences to watch.”

He mentioned that there are scenes in the show which are exaggerated, and others that are inspired by reality.

Meanwhile, coming back to the show, it features Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, and Anya Singh in the lead roles.
