2 Terrorists Killed In LoC Kupwara: Security forces have killed two terrorists in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, foiling Pakistani infiltration attempt.
2 Terrorists Killed In LoC Kupwara: Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police foiled an attempt to infiltration of terrorists on the Line of Control in Machil sector of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have killed two terrorists in the encounter. IGP Kashmir confirmed that bodies of two terrorists have been recovered in the encounter and search operations are underway in the area.
Search operation still going on
Security agencies had received intelligence that some terrorists were trying to infiltrate into India from across the border. After this, Army, BSF and other agencies together started the operation. Two terrorists were killed in the encounter, while the search operation is still going on in the area to confirm the presence of any more hiding terrorists. After the incident, the entire area has been cordoned off and additional security forces have been deployed. Drones and sniffer dogs are being used in the search operation, so that no suspicious activity goes unnoticed.
