Why Do Pakistanis Attempt to Infiltrate India?
The Pakistan Army keeps pushing terrorists into India illegally through the border. Pakistan does not want peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. Islamabad does so to keep the ‘Kashmir issue’ alive. Recently, Pakistani terrorists carried out the Pahalgam attack in which they killed 26 tourists, triggering an armed conflict between the two countries.
Security Operation In J-K’s Kishtwar
On August 11, intermittent firing and deafening sounds of explosions rattled a forested area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district as the operation to neutralise terrorists entered the second day. The terrorists were believed to be hiding inside a cave on a cliff at Bhagna forest in Dool area, some 25 km from Kishtwar town. The search operation in the forest area started following intelligence input about the presence of two most wanted Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists — Riyaz Ahmad and Mudassar Hazari — who were active in the district for the past eight years and carrying a reward of Rs 10 Lakh each.
