Armie Hammer’s career fell flat after sexual abuse accusations in 2021
Armie Hammer faced online brunt when in 2021 some text messages made it to the internet where he was accused of being violent with sexual partners. Several women accused him of being violent, dark and manipulative. At the time, Armie Hammer was married to entertainment journalist Elizabeth Chambers. The couple divorced in 2023.
It started with Armie Hammer’s ex-girlfriend, Efrosina Angelo, who accused him of raping her in 2017. Two other women then came forward and accused Hammer of subjecting them to emotional abuse so severe it led them to seek treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. One said he expressed a desire to cook and eat her rib.
