Meanwhile, Malayalam music composer Kailash Menon shared a note in support of the world’s greatest composer, which Khatija posted on her Instagram story and also reacted to it with different emojis.
Recently, in an interview with A.R. Rehman talked about the ‘power play’ in the Hindi film industry, and also hinted that he has not been getting much work in Bollywood for the last eight years because of ‘communal things’. His statements sparked controversy, and many people started criticizing him on social media.
Malayalam music composer Kailash Menon shared a note in support of Rahman, and the Dil Se music composer’s daughter Khatija Rahman has reacted to it. She shared that post on her Instagram story and also commented clap, fire, 100% and heart emojis on her post.

On Sunday, AR Rahman gave clarification about the controversy. He posted a video on Instagram and said that India has been his inspiration, his guru and his home. In the video he said that sometimes intentions can be misunderstood.
