1. Talk in numbers and data
Many people work hard, but when it comes to presenting their views to the boss, they hesitate. Don’t tell your boss, ‘I worked very hard.’ Show them the data instead. Keep a chart or list ready of how much profit you have brought to the company in the last one year, how many projects you have completed on time or how much cost cutting you have done. When you talk with numbers, it becomes difficult for the boss to say ‘no’.
