New Delhi: Apple has started its sale on Valentine’s Day in India, with instant cashback offers on iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, Apple Watches and AirPods. The discounts have been activated on the official online store of Apple in India and can be availed over a short-lived duration using some bank cards.
Apple is not cutting the list prices, but it is following its playbook. Customers receive instant cashback guaranteed by the bank at the point of sale that reduces the actual price of products. The strategy maintains the same price of stickers, but it still provides the shoppers with an incentive to upgrade or purchase a gift during a Valentine date.
MacBook deals lead the sale
The top highlight this season is the laptops. The Apple MacBook Air with an upgraded chip, the M4, comes with instant cashback of up to Rs 10,000, and its actual initial cost is reduced to Rs 89,900. The same cashback can be used on the selected models of MacBook Pro: the 14-inch M4 model and the 16-inch M4 Pro model.
The offers will apply to the purchases done with the help of cards issued by ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and American Express, and the discount will be auto-calculated at the checkout.
That being the case, customers seeking the cheapest price can consider places other than Apple stores as well. Electronics sales participant Vijay Sales is now offering the base MacBook Air M4 at more aggressive prices, and further bank offers there can drive down the final cost even further. Other third-party prices are not common with the models of MacBook Pro.
iPhones, Watches and AirPods cashbacks
In its smartphone business, Apple is providing an instant cashback of Rs 5,000 on the line of iPhone 17 that makes the standard model cost Rs 77,900. iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus also have Rs 4,000 cashback, but other competing platforms can still compete with such prices by offering exchange schemes and stacked offers.
The wearables and accessories are also included in the Valentine push. Apple Watch Series 11 has a discounted price of Rs 4,000, whereas the Apple Watch SE 3 has been discounted by Rs 2,000. Both AirPods Pro (3rd generation) and AirPods 4 have instant cashback of Rs 1,000.
iPads included in the festive offers
The tablet consumers are not being left behind. The new iPad Air 11-inch and 13-inch versions have Rs 4,000 cashback, and the standard iPad and iPad mini have discounts up to Rs 3,000.
