AP TET 2025 result declared; 39.27 per cent qualified for teacher recruitment

New Delhi: The Department of School Education has declared the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2025 result. This year, 39.27 per cent of candidates qualified the AP TET exam who are eligible for teaching positions in Class 1 to Class 8. The user name, password and captcha code are required to log in and check the result at tet2dsc.apcfss.in.

Through this APET recruitment process, teachers will be recruited in government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, municipal and private aided schools in Andhra Pradesh. With 12,912 single-teacher schools, Andhra Pradesh has the highest number in the country.

A total of 2,71,692 applications were submitted by 2,41,509 candidates for the AP TET 2025 exam.

AP TET passing marks

The AP TET passing marks for the general and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates is 60 per cent. For the reserved category candidates, the pass percentage is 50 per cent. Candidates who receive the minimum passing mark are awarded the AP TET Marks Memo.

AP TET exam date

Over 2 lakh candidates appeared for the APTET exam that was conducted on December 10 and December 11. The exam was held in two shifts. Session 1 was from 9.30 AM to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 2.30 PM to 5 PM. The exam was conducted across district headquarters, municipalities, revenue divisions and mandals. The AP TET question paper consisted of multiple-choice questions. For each correct answer, one mark was awarded. No negative marking was alloted for the incorrect attempt.

Last year, the Supreme Court made the TET exam mandatory for aspiring and in-service teachers. After the announcement of the SC, several states released the TET exam schedule for state-level exams.

The AP TET provisional answer key was issued for 21 subject papers on December 20. Based on the final answer key, the result has been prepared.
