Actress Anushka Sen celebrated her father’s birthday with a heartfelt social media tribute, describing him as her “superhero” and thanking him for being a constant source of strength and encouragement.
Anushka shared a couple of unseen pictures with her father on Instagram and reflected on the values he has instilled in her. She credited him with encouraging her to dream big, work hard and remain true to herself.
“Happy birthday to my superhero. The one who makes me believe that dreams do come true & that if you put in the hard work and stay true to yourself, anything is possible,” she wrote.
Calling herself fortunate to have been raised by him, Anushka added, “Everyday you raise the standards so high, you’ve brought me up like a princess and I thank you for being my pillar of strength.”
She further described her father’s support as her “biggest blessing”, writing, “Your support and encouragement means the world to me having you as my father, is the biggest blessing. I love you the most. Leo father Leo daughter.”
On the professional front, Anushka is set to headline the upcoming South Korean romantic musical drama Jeju Olle. She is reportedly playing Alisha, a woman who travels to South Korea’s Jeju Island while coping with the loss of her sister.
During her journey, Alisha develops an emotional connection with Sunwoo, a singer-songwriter played by Korean actor Kang Hyung-seok.
Anushka began her career as a child artist and gained recognition through television shows including Baal Veer, Jhansi Ki Rani and Internet Wala Love. Her film credits include Lihaaf: The Quilt and Am I Next.
